An Open Letter To Capricorn For August 2022
Dear Capricorn,
I hope my letter finds you well and eagerly awaiting to embrace whatever opportunities the world may have to offer you. Because that's what you are good at; quietly going about your daily affairs in a competent and unassuming way, only to step up to the mark and take control when destiny calls. Furthermore, you exhibit a Stoic self-determination to accept whatever burdens Life places upon your shoulders. You struggle on to do your duty. You are indomitable. You are admirable. In fact, you possess qualities that are admired and applauded far and wide.
Nevertheless, making new friends can be hard for some Capricorns. Let me explain why this is so. Although you can articulate profound and eternal truths; inconsequential chitter-chatter is often too difficult to manage. You are a deep thinker and often prefer to keep your thoughts to yourself. But when you do make a friend it is for life, or, until they stab you in the back or disappoint you in some other significant way.
Moreover, you look for consistency and reliability in both your emotional and professional life. Relationships matter, but not at any price. I know that many of my Capricorn friends are finding it hard to keep their emotions under wrap, so to speak. Some are nursing a broken heart, while others mourn the loss of both status and financial independence. You are not one to wear your heart on your sleeve for all the world to see. You are far too private for that. But many of you are hurting inside. That is a shame because your loyalty and perseverance in the face of prolonged hardship deserves a more generous reward.
But enough of this soul-searching and introspection. Instead, think this way: your past might be sterile, cold, and lonely, but your future is warm and pregnant with possibilities. You are Capricorn the Mountain Goat. Consequently, no pinnacle is too difficult for you to ascend. No environment (either physical, philosophical or emotional) too austere to deter your exploration. Week One:
Mars and Uranus energies blend to promote your desire to experience the new and unusual. You want to transcend all boundaries and do your “own thing” without hindrance or limitations. Nevertheless, you must still acknowledge the rights of others and the rule of law. Consequently, think well before you act. This is potentially a good week for your social life, and you might grasp the chance to initiate a new romance. Interestingly, the Moon is in the Ninth House and opposed to Neptune in the Third House. This makes me wonder if you will feel impelled to incorporate more religious or traditional cultural values into your family life. This task might be undertaken at the prompting of your Mother or “mother-figure”. A family trip of some kind may also be on the agenda. However, there could be some physical obstacles, or, stressful inhibiting factor which makes a visit from distant relatives a more likely occurrence. Furthermore, this might be an appropriate time to clarify some confusing communications and clear the air, so to speak.
Psychic intuition might play a more powerful role in your burgeoning thought processes this week. Another subject for consideration might be the mysterious behaviour displayed by someone in your close vicinity. It is fascinating to note that a number of exceptionally attentive Capricorns may overhear some juicy gossip which they can not resist sharing on Facebook. Interestingly, this is a potentially fortuitous period to study religion, mysticism, art, music, or, psychology. On the down-side, you might forget an important appointment or accidentally fail to send a birthday card.
Week Two:
Venus and Pluto energies combine in such a way as to stimulate rewarding social activities. That is to say, you find it easier to get along with people because you feel more self-confident and behave in a more positive and outgoing way. All your most likeable and endearing qualities come to the fore, and people warm to your personality. Indeed, marriage or a significant milestone in your emotional/sex life might be encountered.
Pluto in the First House stimulates your innate clairvoyant faculties, increases your will power, and marks a favourable period for enhancing spiritual growth. Joint finances could be up for discussion or a source of conflict.
As previously noted, you will experience a greater desire for power and – perhaps – sexual gratification. Jealousy may also become an issue. Week Three:
Saturn applies the brakes, while Mars and Pluto energies simultaneously struggle to maintain the momentum of whatever plans you have set in motion. In addition, the combined energies of Mercury and Uranus offer intellectual insights (veritable quantum leaps of understanding) to those Capricorns who's Natal Horoscope resonates well with the current planetary alignments.
Perplexingly, Neptune's intoxicating and subversive influence might confuse your clarity of vision. This is all very intriguing and essentially a continuation of the challenges presented in weeks One and Two.
Week Four:
Unrealistic optimism and financial extravagance need to be avoided if at all possible this week. In addition, it might be an error of judgment to underestimate the potential animosity lurking secretly within the hearts and minds of some family members. In short: all might not be as tranquil and harmonious as you think. Therefore, it might be wise to avoid discussing the cultural, educational or religious differences held by some members of your family circle. Endeavour to remain aloof and neutral if such topics are raised in family debates. Take care not to “painted into a corner” so to speak. Why? Because if you align yourself with the biased opinions of some family members, you might unwitting alienate yourself from the majority. And there might be a financial penalty to be paid in the future.
