Ok ....... well i was lay sleeping on my bed last night, until i woke up for no reason whatsoever around 11pm , and found myself unable to move any part of my body ,except my fingertips and my eyes ! It felt like i was paralysed and no matter how hard i tried i couldn't move ! After a few minutes it felt as if something knelt on the bed beside me next to my head ,it stayed there for a short while and then suddenly scurried quickly down to the end of the bed ,it stopped at my feet then it felt as if it placed its hands over my legs as it climbed across my legs and crawled to the opposite side of the bed and there it stayed for a minute or so ,although i couldn't lift my head from my pillow to take a look !! After it had gone, i still couldn't sit up or move, but i managed to grip onto the sheets with my fingers in the feeble attempt to pull myself up .... but to no avail ,i was frozen lay on my back my eyes rapidly scanning every inch of the room within my view over and over as i knew whatever it was that i had felt on the bed was still in the room with me ,i felt helpless and my body felt as if it was a dead weight and i didn't have any strength whatsoever to move ,i remember trying to shout out to my daughter but my mouth was firmly shut ,i attempted to call out but i was silent ,not so much as a murmur or muffled hum came from my mouth ,nothing !!! Although my body seemed unreactive , my mind was working overtime ,i remember thinking to myself i must be dreaming and i will wake up in a minute, but my eyes were wide open and i was totally aware of what was going on around the house ,i could here my daughter making herself a cup of tea in the kitchen and then she returned to the living room and closed the door ,i could even hear the programme she was watching on the tv and the channels changing as she searched to see what else there was to watch ! i was certain i could not be asleep ,so confused and anxious ,still trying to move ,an arm ... a leg even ... just an inch ..... then it happened again !! I felt the mattress dip as it did before as it perched itself beside my head as it quickly shifted down the bed and over my feet i found the strength to slide my right leg slightly ,towards the corner of the bed where it had lingered last time gathering my duvet a little and it just disappeared !! I continued to try and get up, I had to focus so hard in my mind , saying to myself 'get up, you can get up, for gods sake mooove' and eventually i succeeded and managed to slide myself off the bed and flopped onto the floor ! still feeling weak, i held on to the bedside cabinet and the handle on my door to support myself as i pulled myself off the floor onto my feet. At that point i became aware of my room being bitter cold ,so cold that my fingers started to ache! after steadying myself for a minute i slowly edged my way onto the landing and downstairs. My daughter then opened the door of the living room and stood with a frown looking at me , she asked me what was the bang , i assumed she meant the noise as i hit the floor from the bed, i didnt get the chance to reply before she took me by my arm and lead me into the living room asking if i was alright, she said i didnt look so good and i was very pale and withdrawn , she sat me down and got went and got me a glass of water ! I have always known there has been somebody or something that lives in our house with us ,for various reason which i won't go into now or we will be here till christmas lol !! I have felt there presence lots of times and witnessed their mischievousness ! Also about 6/7 months ago my niece, who knew very little about my experiences in the house, has a friend who's mum is a medium and she randomly told my niece one day that she has a message for me ,she knew an awful lot about mee & my family and things we had been through! she told her that we have a good and a bad spirit in our house !! the good spirit is one of an elderly lady, who is constantly protecting my famliy, she wears a long white shirt type nightgown,and she was spot on too, her description matched that of the lady who has appeared several times to my daughter !!! in fact she seems to follow my daughter around even outside the house !!! for example ,one evening as it was becoming dark my daughter was on her way home with my grandson in his buggy ,her friend had saw her from a distance called out to her but apparently she didnt hear !! as she got home her friend rang her and asked who was the lady she was with ? she told her that she had seen a woman with white hair in a long white dress beside her and it appeared as if they were talking to each other as they walked ,my daughter was really confused as she was alone all the way home and had no idea what her friend was talking about ! i myself have never seen or felt the presence of this lady who is said to protect us from the bad spirit ,i only wish i could say i have never felt the presence of the man who we have been told wants to harm us,me and my family, for reasons unknown. For years on so many occasions, even in daylight i have seen this spirit in like a mass of dark shadow ,not in human shape more like a dark cloud which shifts so quickly if you blink you could miss it !! its always high up off the ground just below ceiling level and it disappears as quickly as it appears ,i have seen this many times and as far as i am aware it has only manifested itself to me and one other person ,a close friend of mine, who i had never mentioned the goings on to ,as he sat on my kitchen worktop one afternoon ,it was a bright sunny day outside and i was stood with my back to the kitchen wall before my friend and we were chatting, then something seemed to of caught his eye as i saw his eyes quickly look above my head and quickly his head turned to the corner of the room ,he looked straight back at me and asked me what the hell was tht ,i looked confused as to what he meant and he explained that a big black cloud of smoke seemed to shoot across the kitchen wall then disappear ,he was so freaked out by this ,he quickly reached for his coat said his goodbyes and left !! this is usually the way i see this spirit , i have named him myself the shadow man ,except one time again i was lay on my bed with the lights off and my laptop on my chest ,for some reason i looked up from my laptop towards my window and there i saw a big shape of a man ,he was huge ,broad and very tall, his head seemed to almost touch the ceiling and his shoulders seemed to take up the entire width of my wardrobe. i couldnt make out any facial features just a huge black shadow in human shape! i thought my eyes were playing tricks on me as i had been staring at the laptop screen in darkness for some time ,my eyes fixated on this shadow i slowly closed the lid of my laptop then closed my eyes tight to give them chance to adjust to the darkness of my room after a minute or two i opened them again looked in the same place as before and he was still standing there it seemed he was towering above my bed in the corner of my bedroom looking straight back at me !! it was really intimidating and i have to say i was scared to death after a minute or two i closed my eyes turned my back to it and pulled my quilt up to my ears and lay still ,telling myself in my head it will go away soon it cant hurt me ,i lay frozen like that in my bed for about 15 minutes until i found the courage to open my eyes once more and check to see if it had gone ,luckily it had ! does anybody know why these two spirits seem to of attached themselves to my family or what they could want ? i have researched our house to see if had any history and came up with nothing ,we have lived here for almost 15 years,and i have always known there was something here spirit like living here with us ! Im sure there is a third spirit of a little girl here also ,although she wasnt mentioned by the medium ,i know she exists around the house and she is very mischievous but means us no harm ,setting of toys in the middle of the night ,hiding things from us etc ,but thats about all ,we hear her a lot running around upstairs ,across the landing space from room to room ,her footsteps are quick and light so i know it is that of a child !! my mother also told me some years ago she had seen my ghosts ,lol ! she had been babysitting one evening and sat in the sitting room alone watching tv with the curtains pulled close, when i got home she quickly made her excuses and left suddenly ,which was very strange i thought as she usually stayed a while and we would have a cup of tea or two and have a catch up chat ! Shortly after my mum had left the telephone rang and it was then she told me she had seen two ghosts in full apparition ,a man and a woman ,she described them as all dressed up in their 'sunday best' victorian type clothing ! She said they just simply seemed to float through my sitting room ,entering through the wall before disappearing through the opposite wall into my neighbours house !! She said the reason she rushed off so suddenly when i arrived back at home was because she didn't want to discuss it in front of my children because they would of been frightened if she had ! When she told me all this on the phone I wasn't scared by it in fact in a way I felt relieved that it wasn't all in my imagination ,my mum wasn't scared either by these ghost like figures ,she said she didn't think they were aware of her being in the room and that they just appeared and then disappeared ,clear as day !
After last nights experience though, i'm pretty shook about it and i would really appreciate any advice as to how i can get rid of these spirits ,or at least find out why they are here or what they want from me ..... anyone help ... please ?? i would be extremely grateful x
