In 2020, I decided to write down the paranormal and spiritual experiences I have had and at the same time I decided to ask other people if they had had any experiences to tell me. I typed up my experiences and asked in facebook groups if anyone would like to share with me any paranormal or spiritual experiences that they had had. There was a lot of people who contacted me and I messaged them all and asked them questions to gain a good understanding of their experience. Some of the things people told me had happened were very strange, some were quite frightening and many people talked to me about feeling and experiencing visits from relatives that had passed on. Also some people talked to me about dreams that they've had. I typed them all up and put them in an ebook with everyone's permission of course.
In the past no one used to talk about seeing ghosts as we used to always call spirits, now it is more likely say spirits I believe. But in the past especially when I was growing up this was never talked about. So when I had my own experiences I never talked about any of it. However, a couple of the experiences my mother also was there so she also heard it all as well.
One of the shared experiences with my mum, was in the house we used to live in. We both used to hear the noises of people coming into the house through the door which was at the side of the house and at the bottom of the stairs landing and the sound of them coming upstairs talking to each other. Then as they came upstairs somewhere up the stairs the noises would fade away
. One time my mum woke me up shouting because she thought there were burglars coming into the house, but there was no one there. I am a light sleeper so I heard the noises more than my mum, I think, but we both heard it all and other people who stayed at the house heard them as well and they too thought that it was people coming into the house talking to each other. We didn't see anything, that would have made it more scary but as it was, because it was noises, it wasn't frightening. As well, because it happened over a long period of time, you just got used to it. Sometimes my mum would be out baby sitting and I would hear the noises and think that she was coming back to the house, but it was just the noises of people talking and no one was there.
I eventually wondered if it was relatives who had passed on and who decided to call in on us, maybe it was my Aunty Hilda with her mum and her sister. That is a nice thought, but you couldn't tell what they were saying, it did sound like women not men though and at least two or three people.
